To KOVITCH et al.

The Rao analysis (Hampshire Securities) included in the MRV investor relations folder made me want to know more about the Fibronics acquisition. With Rao bullish about the impact of the additional sales channel and positive on MRV's ability to integrate it fast, I was still surprised to discover the QUALITY of the new Nbase customer base at the old Fibronics Germany site, now www.nbase.de. I occasionally perpetrate advertising copy and my most recent commission involved a brochure for a European systems integrator and hardware distributor. From conversations with the company's senior engineer I came to understand what little I know of networking. Also, that ATM is meeting resistance. That leaves scalable Ethernet. I understand German and am somewhat knowledgeable about Germany and the German economy and can vouch for the SUPERIOR quality of the accounts and projects enumerated at www.nbase.de. To repeat what I exclaimed earlier, the new products from NBase USA will regenerate these accounts quickly. Rao in his analysis says by Q2. He is probably right. From what I know of business practice in Europe, he is also right about 90-day receivables. Thanks for the optimism from the Japan/Fujitsu/MITI front. Question: What does Intel do with the switches which it purchases from MRC? Resell them? In what kind of boxes? To whom?

PS to KOVICH: Tyro has a generalist background in languages, history and economics.
