He's Baaack. Apple Recon on Newton, Inc.

Particularly intriguing is his projection of "revisionistic" analyst thinking vis a vis AAPL.

>It wasn't surprising that "the majority of analysts" greeted Apple's move vis-a-vis Newton warmly. Both the analysts and their employers see a Newton IPO down the pike and they're interested in becoming part of the selling syndicate, and maybe even an underwriter of the deal. So, don't be surprised if one or more analysts at the major houses start making favorable comments about Apple (AAPL.O) sooner rather than later. IF RFI had to guesstimate as to the timing of those favorable comments, one would have to guess sometime around the release of MacOS 8.X or maybe even the PC Expo in New York this summer. By then, Apple should have a "demonstrable version" of MacTel Rhapsody for a show and tell session. <
