Time to cut the cord.

Looking for a recommendation for a wireless home lan kit.

Here's my wishlist:
-------------------

- Must work on Windows XP
- Must have pcmcia support for laptops.
- Minimum 1 meg transfer rate.
- Proven security to keep the neigbhours and passer-by
out of my home network.
- Good range > 200ft
- Minimal interference with other wireless devices.
- Easy to setup.
- Reliable.
- Support for the Compaq Ipaq would be cool.
- Expandable to connect more devices in the future.
- Ideally based on current standards supported
by a wide range of device makers. (No propriatary stuff)
- Affordable

Any thoughts?
Anyone have real life success or horror stories
on such a setup?
Should I wait until XP supports Bluetooth?

Thanks in advance.
