DD

I think we have a short squeeze going with SKI.
MMH was suppose to convert into 1.75 shares of DORl. SKI was suppose to convert into 1.00 shares of DORL. They called it of at the last minute. Here is some background.
NYSE
SKI AMERICAN SKIING CO 1,268,412 Million shares are short as of 3-15-2001

Ownership
· Insider: 74%

Per-Share Data Book Value (mrq*) $4.96

Short Interest
As of 8-Feb-2001 Shares Short 1.06M Percent of Float 13.2% Shares Short
(Prior Month) 568.0K Short Ratio 17.95 Daily Volume 59.0K

Total EBITDA for the first six months of fiscal 2001 was $11.7 million versus a loss of $5.4 million in the comparable period in fiscal 2000

For the 26 weeks vs. 27 weeks ended 1/28/01, revenues rose 36% to $204.4

SKI did a huge reversal today.

So DD. You seem to be saying it was not very busy last week at MT Snow! I was hoping the extra month of good skiing weather would shore up SKI's balance sheet.
