It is all in what you are looking for. You say the OT is dead but it turns out that you pick and choose the scripture that still apply to the Jews. The Israelites in the wilderness were sinners no one can dispute that but consider this they and their parents, grandparents, great grandparents etc.. had lived in bondage and never knew this freedom so they had to be trained and God was in the process of training them. At times I am sure I seem a little less than loving to my children but I do not stop loving them and I am evil compared to the love of God. Try reading in Zechariah where they will come to Jerusalem before the King and worship Him from all Nations on the earth especially Egypt (Zechariah 14) These verses in context are clearly after the first coming the time of the Nations and the return Zechariah 9:14 Then the Lord will appear over them his arrow will flash like lightning The Sovereign Lord will sound the trumpet he will march in the storms of the South and the Lord Almighty will shield them.
The text continues to share the glory of Israel on that day as he defends her. There is clearly a difference in this book of the believing Nations and Israel. Back to Zechariah 14 there is a King the Nations will worship in Zion and they will celebrate the feast of Tabernacles can you explain when this has occured. You say these types of prophecy were fulfilled when the Lord came so who was this King? Was it Herod? David was dead. It has to be the future reign of Messiah Jesus in Zion like it or not. There are many scriptures like this but you manage to only focus on Dueteronomy 28 and miss the love of God wishing to see them as dogs and by the way it was not them that Jesus called dogs was it. My defense with your doctrine is not with any people for we are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God, my defense is of the plan of God and His faithfulness. He made the new Covenant with the House of Israel and the House of Judah so your ideas are that he failed to uphold that covenant and had to pass it on to a different people. Would He not know they would fail ahead of time and allow for that in His plan. Even though many died in the desert he did not give up on them He continued His plan with them without the atonement of Messiah yet so you could know Him today.

P.S. I wonder if you and Emile will refuse to go to Jerusalem and celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles when He sits on His throne there?
Zechariah 14:17 If any of the people of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King the Lord Almighty they will have no rain.
