To All, Of the 17 network related stocks I follow I have come up with a list of 5 which I calculate to be over bought and 6 which appear to be over sold. NN 27.3% $31.88 $22.50 29.4% SHVA 21.7% $13.75 $ 9.75 29.1% FORE 49.1% $25.75 $20.25 21.4% ASND 57.6% $53.88 $42.75 20.7% ADPT 24.9% $38.38 $31.50 17.9% Over Sold: Symbol EarnGrowth Curr $ Theory $ Diff. VST 41.6% $14.50 $27.75 -91.4% BAY 56.0% $18.88 $30.00 -58.9% XYLN 49.3% $18.00 $25.50 -41.7% XIRC 33.7% $16.63 $23.25 -39.8% MRVC 46.9% $22.00 $28.50 -29.5% I made my calculations very simply. PE should be equal to 75% of expected growth on current estimates. The index of stocks I am tracking curently trades at 89.5% of growth which is 40.3%. So, my 75% figure is probably low, but these stocks have been getting hammered and estimates are comming down slightly for some stocks in the industry. Seems to me the real thrust upwards will come in 1 to 2 months as the Q1 numbers start to come out and the dollar possibly falls some. I presume a lot of this sell off is due to a large rise in the dollar and obviously the disappointing earnings statements by some companies. The story on MRVC still remains one of my favorites. Solid consistent earnings growth and management, leading edge products, INTC partnership, rumors of Japan deal, and cheap price. JMOs Wayde.
