Jim, I can tell that you are a conspiracy buff. Whatever floats your boat is fine with me.

This is the first long investment position I have held that has been accused of being nothing more than a grand Ponzi scheme. :-)

Never let it be said that Steve Case and his team think small. No, they are GRAND designers, plotters, and schemers. This we do agree on.

You know, I invite you to ponder the following: It was pointed out to me by an insightful friend over on AOL....

The latest lawsuit filed in California accuses AOL of basically being a fraud in its business intent, marketing for subs without the capacity to deliver service, so they could jack up the ad revenues. Willfully.
The suit goes on to ask for FCC (or someone) to regulate AOL, since AOL is nearly a public utility.

....A Public Utility......

Ponder on that. Both the negative aspects of that, and the implied compliment that is contained in that.
