Gottfried, though I agree with you, I can't help wanting it both ways. If when NYSE asked why their stock went up, would it have hurt to simply point out the announcements of the last dew days, without mentioning the rumors? And then if asked about the rumors, reply "We don't comment about rumors." I know it's a slippery slope once you start talking about your stock price, and skilled questioning might get an inexperienced PR guy to slip up. But there are so many reasons for the movement that are non-rumor related, and NONE of them made NBR last night. Just the rumors. That was bad, IMO.

P.S. to Dr, Iomega. Please disregard my last Q to you. Upon review, I realize the "No comment" announcement was the news you wanted us to stay tune to CNBC for, yesterday. Rats.
