"Read Replies" now works on the dev site.

With a caveat.

When a message has replies to it, the "Read Replies" link appears, but not the number of replies. If a message has no replies, no link appears. This is also true when viewing replies.

If it's deemed necessary or important (it probably will be, and will be relatively inexpensive to implement), I'll make sure the system later displays the number of replies along with the "Read Replies" link.

The reason I'm not displaying the number of replies is that the replycount field on the Dev site is often (usually) stale because the system currently only imports new messages and every field associated with them, but doesn't go back and update the replycount of previously-imported messages where appropriate.

I think the best approach is to hold off on doing so until the Dev site becomes the production site, then I'll run a query to correct the replycount field of every message and, of course, replies submitted via that site will also increment replycount.

Edit: The caveat is actually quite a bit more far-reaching. It's entirely likely that messages with replies will be missing the "Read Replies" link on Dev because they had no replies at the time they were imported. Still, I prefer to fix this after Dev has gone into full production.
