There was. I spoke with someone at UPR about it. As I remember it, the right of way for UPR's land had been granted to the Union Pacific railroad, and original landowners are trying to get control over any drilling rights (any use other than for railroad purposes). Previous rulings have been in favor of any company with the rights and against the original owners. The case had been heard and the judge had not come back with his decision whenever I talked with them. (I know it was before November 1997 and maybe as early as June or July 1997.) I haven't heard any more.
