But, the twit is now over 600% wrong on Sun.com, so I guess you two are the from the same mold...
False.
You know, I don't know why I defend twister (I once actually got accused of being twister), but there's a long list of differences between twister and jim kelly, whom I ignored almost immediately.
I've learned from twister's posts over the years how a buffett-style investor thinks. He's not an armageddon bear like the mythsters. He represents a conservative school of investing that still makes a lot of sense but has difficulty assimilating the fact that, like 100,000,000-share and then billion-share days, permanent organic changes can alter markets. Are we in a mania just waiting for immutable laws to reassert themselves in a kahuna meltdown? A new age where some things really are different and we're heading toward DOW-50,000? These are questions that no one really can answer and are divisive issues even among bulls. Smugness is never justified even among the newly-right and the newly-wealthy. Nobody really knows WTF's going on; everyone should be anxious to learn.
It is for this reason for example that I've enjoyed the dialogue between rudedog and Thomas and others; I have learned more about Sun's business and strategy because of it. I don't care whether rudedog is bearish on the stock...he has something useful to add.
As for Jim Kelly, I don't like insulting anybody but I have never found anything either interesting, informative or even amusing about any of hist posts, and I have found several posts very offensive. Now, I don't even see them any more (thanks SI).
twister, goes over the line with ad-hominem remarks at times, but I consider him an asset to the thread. Just try to get it right once in a while<g>. Actually, don't.
