It helps if you think like a born-again Christian: this is the first day of the rest of my investment life, so: how can I maximize my profit? By keeping the losers? Yes, why not, but not for any emotional reasons or because we all would like to prove how we could stand the pain. You keep them, because/if they promise the best possible return among the alternatives.
