My SpecOps son-in-law thinks I'm daft in the other direction, but wants to debate the issues, and, thank heavens, is enormously perceptive. I think we have an excellent new generation coming along.

Re: republicans, I had no idea what to expect. I'm just taking it a day at a time. Like Clinton, for purely pragmatic reasons they could at any time, either follow or completely disregard any principles. I don't believe or trust the admin or Congress, unless I can audit their actions and financial activities.
Lying has become too much of a well-developed art form.
I chalk that up to the rampant commercialization of the Beltway, everyone's in it for the buck, there are no more idealists over there.
To Hell with them all, they need removal (the hard part !!!!) and replacement - Much easier, since there are intelligent sincere people all over this country who are honest, above board, and willing to serve for love of their fellow citizenry. |
