Mish were you thinking about end of month - many managers are reporting monthly reports and today trades settle on March 1. (3 days)

Further I think many TA types noticed the GAN days & Bradly Osc. and other TA indicators this week and went short only to get busted.

Best example are the RE stock classic short busting tactics by no others as the retail mutual funds with FID leading the charge ... remember Janus in the DOT COM era? is TOL behaving diferently?
