Z, That's the way it works in every other occupation... Really? Guess I should have demanded a 3x pay hike from my employer when I moved from Oregon to California, given that rent and housing prices are that much more expensive. Salary should be based on the labor market, period. Cost of living will naturally factor in, but I'm not going to pretend I'm entitled to a higher salary just because I chose to live in a more expensive neighborhood. Tenchusatsu
