The border has been pourous since The Alamo. Bush has had five years to do something about it and hasn't done squat.
In fact 13 years because he was also a two-term Texas governor and didn't do anything then either.

Why? Because he's on record as suppopting both exploitatrion of illegal aliens and exporting US jobs to China and India.

The Canadian border is even more porous by the way, and though we don't have many illegals coming in there, that is where several of the Al Qaida terrorists came from. Not Mexico.
