Alec...do not worry about the FOOLS..hahaha they chose their names...I have never seen a case where a stock starts options and the stock does not do very well in the short term...options give people a chance to hedge themselves and thus are willing to buy into these stocks knowing that protection may be bought...gives one a peace of mind even if one does not have to use the puts ....
