lwd: While you are on the subject of Seprafilm competitors, you should look also at Life Medical Sciences (CHAI). It's a tiny US/Israeli company that is currently in early human trials for a similar product called Repel. In animal tests last year, none of the 15 rabbits treated with Repel had adhesions, vs. 7 for the "FDA approved product" which I assume was Seprafilm.

It's a high risk stock, but because it has a low market cap (around $30m), a success here or in one of their other somewhat long-shot products (hair growth is one of them) would produce considerable returns. I currently have a small amount of it in one of my "quadruple or nothing" slots in my portfolio.
