on a non-compete basis, investigations are currently underway looking into them and yes I suspect bribery frankly.

Yes lying; for years ERICY was spreading derision on CDMA, saying through their various organs that it wouldn't work etc (check: siliconinvestor.com. Now that it DOES work, and works so well that GSM is effectively obsolete,
we have new and improved vaporwear whose specs are locked in stone one day and then changed willy-nilly the next.

ERICY coming out with a new chip rate that still doesn't match QCOM's and therefore cripples both of them from a harmonization
standpoint; yet they're trying to take the credit for "compromising".

Reminds me of a characterization of Republicans I heard once: if you were drowning 15 feet off shore, they'd throw you a 10 foot rope and then proclaim that hey, they'd met you more than half-way, right?
