I've got about as much of this one as I feel is worth the risk that it WON'T go up to such levels. Frankly, I feel like I'm in too early, but don't want to miss the bump (if and) when it comes. I'm not aggressively buying because between this puppy and TPRO, I'm cashed out.

There was a bump to over 8 about a month ago, probably on expectations of a better earnings report or reacting to Tex Instruments announcements about wanting to buy one of these dsp companies. (having bought in at 5, I was already more than 60% up) Then, shortly before earnings reports were made public, "they" went away. "They" isn't anyone in particular -- just the people and, hopefully, fund managers who are watching this stock.

I do believe that most tech investors don't yet understand this side of the industry, and that positive earnings are the only thing that will translate into higher bids on the stock. I think many people believe someone like Lucent can come in and just take the whole sector. That, and the (false) perception that SSPIF is too dependent on one company.
