John: Here's a worry I bet NOBODY'S thought of. In 1994 Nasdaq stocks beginning with the letter X did far better in percentage terms than stocks beginning with any other letter of the alphabet. Am too lazy to dig out figures on this at the moment, but believe me, there was NO contest. Last year the Xs didn't do badly (tell you the truth, running the figures for every letter of the alphabet is so boring I couldn't face doing it again, even twelve months later) but their performance was not as strong, even though '95 was a far better year in general for small cap stocks. So looking down the road..... I confess that I feel irresistably attracted to X stocks. Will this be my ruin? (Let's have more worries from the rest of you.) Janice
