Splitting dilutes earnings/share. My work to date shows that the valuation adjustment that occurs is not proportional. A 3/1 could wreak havoc with the market price. Any issues will ultimately result in measurable price changes as do re-purchases which are currently assisting IBM price. Kevin O'Brien
