a disaster to com

I came to this conclusion a couple months ago. I had a rare streak of lucidity: It just came into my mind that there is NO WAY the American People will elect someone so inexperienced and naive. Not only politics, but life in general. I was young once, and understand him, for I felt much like him in my younger days. There is something to be said for the effects of time, it's called experience.

The founding fathers set forty as the limit. Of course, this varies by individual, for some it has the opposite effect, e.g. Carter.

Did Carter run around before he was elected saying he wanted to appease tyrants, as a foundation of his foreign policy. I remember there was some distaste for the hard line, as regards Nixon.

Back in 1976, it was still the sixties, after all.

PS: It is just appalling to me the way the Jewish People are treated nowadays, especially in England, as well as how some of the biggest critics of Israel have a Jewish heritage. For a minority group, they sure suffer slings of arrows.
