I read the previous replies, And the post you replied too. Being part of the Group has little meaning to me. I find engineers in general far more fun than Catholics. Every Church or parish I have been a part of, 5, and all others I've attended once or twice for many reasons have all been very very un-political. I have no problem with any church's getting involved with political issues where morality is a factor of policy. But the methods of involvement should be ethically beyond reproach. Obama's church preached an evil doctrine of hatred and racism. The doctrine and those who advocated it and sat quietly on their asses should be noted and held accountable for their doctrine.
