I would add that societies that demean, enslave, and torture women (children, or men too) deserve condemnation and a choice between reforming themselves or being reformed by force.

All the time we had multiculturalism being shoved down our throats during the Clinton era, I kept thinking "why do we want to cozy up to cultures that cut young girls' private parts with rusty can lids?" "Why do we want to be friendly to cultures that still practice slavery?" etc.

Some cultures are more worthy than others, and we have no obligation to embrace barbarous practices offered by them.

Also, I would add that we do not need the government telling us to practice multiculturalism. I will choose my own friends, thank you. That means if I want to speak Spanish with treeplanters I can, and I do. It's my choice.
