That's a novel twist. :)

Of course many neo-cons came out of the hawkish wing of the Democratic Party from a few decades ago.

Perle was a staffer for Scoop Jackson, for example. Other neo-cons have roots in social liberalism while maintaining a strictly hawkish foreign policy perspective. I'm not sure what point you are trying to make here.

Neo-cons are, to a fault, pro-Sharon, pro-war, pro-secrecy, pro-paranoia. Only a twisted rendition of history would suggest that neo-cons remain in any sense in the liberal camp.
