America has changed alot. There was a time when WASP, really meant White Anglo Saxon Protestant. Now, Asians have the highest household incomes in the United States - people that have no part (or their ancestors) in America's experience with slavery.

Example of change: In 1959-60, only 35% of those graduating from college with a bachelors degree were women, now it is over 55%. In 1981-1982, white men, represented over 43% of bachelor degrees granted. By 2001-2002, less than a third of bachelor degrees conferred were to white men.
