No, that's not my thinking. The shares are in a taxable account. I'll watch the situation closely to prevent them from being called, even if doing so results in a loss on the option contracts.

Makes sense. I wish you the best on this one. I think I'm going to stay on the sidelines for the moment, however. Way too much uncertainty in the market. While I agree with your perception of what's likely to happen to Siebel and expect that it will not do a serious rebound for sometime, I'm worried it could go up and down 10, 15, or even 20 points above the present levels and still wind up back here.

I'm just not comfortable right now. All my stocks are forming new trading ranges. I'll wait to see how that settles down.
