Now that I got someone's attention, I will get to the real reason I'm participating in this thread. AOL has this stupid box that pop's up every 47 minutes to ask if you want to stay online. You have 10 minutes to click o.k. or you will be disconnected. Sometimes if I am loading a web page or something I will hear a beep telling me it's been 47 minutes but the box won't appear anywhere. I can't find it to click o.k. and I know I have only 10 minutes before I'm disconnected. Does anyone else have this problem? To make matters worse, I have to close Netscape, log on again, and restart Netscape. I've used 3 other ISP's and could leave netscape open and just re-connect. The only reason I still have AOL is because they bribed me with 2 free months to come back to them. I tried calling AOL and e-mailed them to no avail. I got a cookie-cutter response that didn't even address my problem. If someone will help me I will go away and leave this thread . I will also cover my short if I can remedy this situation.
