I think that that the extended primary campaign is making Senator Clinton into a stronger, more appealing candidate.


She is definitely way more attractive as the gritty underdog. But not to worry, the second she wins she becomes unbearable again.

Still, the best outcome for McCain is that Obama squeaks into the nomination badly damaged by the long primary fight. If half the country thinks he's a lefty elitist, so much the better. McCain can dust off the history books of Ike's campaign against Adlai Stevenson for advice.
