Dorine: The one year chart on CL is far from straight up. What I was trying to impress upon Eddie was that many stocks dip upon good news. I believe that too many inexperienced investors ( I know nothing about Eddies experience) check daily stock prices and become highly disappointed when they see them go down. In good solid companies like CPQ these dips are healthy. Maybe Eddie's a trader and was just waiting to make a killing on good news. Most investors should buy this stock on dips, tuck it away and be happy they did. This nation has become a bunch of quick-fix, fast food, get rich overnight junkies. Just witness the insane trading of Yahoo, BRCM and KTEL. Unbelievable!Kashmir
