You can say that again...BOTH Sharon and Arafat need to compromise more....For all practical purposes the Palastinian infrustructure is destroyed ---> why does Sharon still ignore what Bush, Powell, and The UN have been calling for...?? A complete and swift withdrawal of Israeli IDF troops would help to stabilize the region and start to prove to The Palastinians that Israel really wants peace. Arafat could and should consider speaking out more against suicide bombings before the withdrawal is totally complete. Yet, virtually all of Arafat's Police Forces have been destroyed --> that makes it very difficult for him to crack down on the terrorists.....BOTH parties need to agree to disagree on some things but also to start moving down a productive pathway to peace.
