Sophisticated postmodernists no longer talk about "truth" or "facts" or "objectivity" with a straight face." IMO, this seems to be one of the biggest problems between left leaning & right leaning folks with regard to Bush Admin on FA. Truth, facts & objectivity to the more left leaners has become so relative that they have indeed created an alternate reality. And they firmly believe it exists. Anything that runs counter to this alternate reality is either blithely ignored or attacked viciously. And they wonder why some of us are so perplexed at this behavior.
