And Lizzie is correct too, there are tax advantages to American cos. when they take their jobs overseas. We need to fix the situatio here. I wonder why they did not do so during the Clinton years. Instead Microsoft and Hp and several other companies pressured the Clinton Govt. to increase HI visa quotas so that they could get workers to fill vacant positions in the US. I do not know what happened under Bush. Did he change the laws to encourage them to take jobs overseas so that the big corporations who contributed to his campaign could get their monies back through increased profits? The Democratic Presidential candidates have remained silent on this issue and I wonder why?
