David, Its joint venture with Detroit Edison (DTE--ON NYSE), that is Power PLug (the fuel cell maker) was the subject of an article on the Knight-Rider wire. DTE plans to begin offering this to its customers in 2001 for about $4000. Power Plug is asking you fill out an application at its website (www.powerplug.com) if you want your home to be a test home. If you check the other messages on this thread you will see that a San Diego based utility has also joined the venture. Mkty still is not profitable, but if the fuel cell works for plug power and comes in for around $4000 I think the sky will be limit. Bill
