Atmel bought out Fincitec, a 14-man DSP design co. from Finland. Atmel says they are seeing big growth in their DSP division and expect to continue to expand. Anyone think TI would buy out SSPIF rather than loose them to the competition? Competition for DSP designers may heat up with the expected growth in this segment.
