last thought for the evening<grin> market makers never buy or sell stocks. they work a spread and collect money for this service, or business they are in. now, they do accumualte for others and then execute the trades now, they do maintain a sloppy market over the counter, but never accuse the market makers of taking a position as it never happens..unless they know the news in advance or are just front running. that said. stock prices. prln does not care what the price is..it does not affect the company in its operations. that said. yes, if they wanted to float a loan, issue shares in a secondary, buy other companies, set a value, etc. the point is, prln has no use for the stock price at this time. if it can't get to four or more it does not matter what the price is. in fact, the lower the price the better it is for those in the know. so the key is not the stock price but the events. now events will move the price,,yes.. but if you were running this copany the key is moving the company foward. that will change the stock price.yes.. but, the price of the stock, of itself , means nothing to the big boys. at this time.. travellers is not selling. rhoades is not selling. the rest? who cares. they don't.. now travellers will care if events unfold. then, the price rises and then travellers cares. till then, we sweat and wonder . hope i helped some to understnd the market forces at play. aslo, to help some understand, that prln, the company is not concerned with the stock price as it will find its level. why would any big buyer support it when if they do nothing, the price slides and it gives them an extra edge. not saying stock willrise, just pointing out that for every seller, e have a buyer. yes at lower prices... remember, someone was buying besides me at these levels. not saying you should buy..just saying the price willnot rise till events move the price up. whew, almost got caught making a bullish statement and that we all know means <grin> .. so market makers cllect money price is set by market conditions and events |
