Tom...you had mentioned that we have an imperial presidency now, and being the literalist, I immediately thought by "now" you meant Bush. I don't blame a president for trying to push his agenda. But overall, most of them aren't adopted. Best reason of all to make sure Legislative and Executive is controlled by different parties imo.
