I don't want to get into dueling stats unless there is a study saying that not reducing a woman's welfare benefit when she marries is harmful. I don't understand why liberals don't jump on the Heritage's Foundations proposal to maintain a welfare recipient's benefits at the same level when she marries--must be ideological politics at play-- I'm guessing.
