On the one hand I don't want to bomb cities but then on the other hand there is part of me asking myself if they would show such concern. My answer is always the same - no.

Who are you asking? If you keep asking yourself, you'll keep getting the same answer. If you ask the innocents trapped between the US military and Saddam...well they'd probably say don't bomb me.

So now your pissed off about 9-11 and want revenge. Now we bombed a few cities and killed 30 times more people than bin Laden killed...and by the way news flash...Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11...So do you think that we have pissed off anyone in Iraq? Did you lose anyone on 9-11? Think of all the people affected by the bombing and raids in Iraq? Any animosity likely to be building?

Seems that the "insurgents" are getting bolder everyday. Their ranks are growing...and it's been shown that the number of foreign fighters is very small. The insurgents are Iraqis. Probably mostly Sunni. Then again the Shia want us out of there too. We defused the problem in Basra...but it's only temporary.

To control Iraq and provide adequate security we need about 300,000 to 400,000 trained troops and peace keepers. We're under staffed, and it's costing lives while prolonging the limbo period. Right now there is no security on the highways. I guarantee that there will be more suicide bombs and other IED's. I know that because I see your anger...and I know that the level of anger and frustration in Iraq is 50 fold. And they have nothing to lose by confronting the occupier.

So while your peacock swagger may make you feel good, the policy is fundamentally flawed, oppressive, murderous and from a Christian perspective...just plain wrong.
