That is the thing. So many social things are better. People are more pleasant. You have less random crime. You don't have as many predators out there. And so on. Everybody feels they have a stake in things, and aren't as interested in gaming the system.

But, hey, that smacks of socialism and that makes it bad...


Any talk that even hints at tinkering with the system and changing it to benefit as many people as possible gets them screaming the S word. Given the way they react, I would have to assume arrested development plays a major role.......that they stopped moving forward around the time when kids really resent sharing.
