Reap, how do I fade this consensus most profitably?

< The Bond Market Association mid-year survey released this morning implies that tomorrow's FOMC rate cut will be the last interest rate cut for this cycle -- generally speaking, the BMA survey predicts a 25 bp cut tomorrow, the fed funds rate target to remain at 1% through 2004Q1, and the rate to be increased to 1.75% by the end of 2004Q3.>

No way in hell Fed Funds are up to 1.75% within a year from now. That would absolutely crush our economy, and Bush's re-election hopes.

Do I buy 1 year interest rate futures or what?
