Hi Judy, Regarding "parabolic sar", of course the parameters will vary with the tradeable, the time frame, and the volatility. With Metastock, I believe that it is left up to you to find the best-fit parameters. I believe there is an optimization feature that you can use. Additionally, here are two other references: 1) Robert Krause's "Fibonacci Trader" which includes advanced variations of the Parabolic SAR: fibonaccitrader.com 2) Dennis Meyers' "Five Parameter Parabolic with Noise Channel Breakout": meyersanalytics.com Good luck with these.
