In my case I only bought in to tech in a big way in Nov. and Dec. Three months later my portfolio was up 85%. One doesn't have to spend much time at the computer to notice something like that. One also doesn't have to have had much experience in the market to recognize that something extraordinary was happening. Of course, acting on that realization, sadly, is another matter.
