NYBellBoy,

<<DOK - Jim S. explained that Motorola was very agressive in putting both analog & digital on one chip. When it works, they will trily have a low cost solution. Big MO are engineers who like to take the hard road sometimes and most of the time they have been right.>>

I guess while they are trying to develop CG Motorola must have forgetten they had to make profits... MOT will take a tumble tomorrow... I hope the short fall in their earnings will not impact CG development.

Thanks go to you for all the information you reported, and to Pat for putting in her analysis and insight.

Today, I was quite disappointed (though not surprised) that we did not get any significant announcements from Amati. Mind you there was a lot of great news about progress at Amati (except for CG delays).

The last few days have been a bit disturbing considering PAIR and WSTL (I hold both, so I am not complaining there) made nice moves (even AWRE for goodness sake) and AMTX has gone down. I know some people loaded up on AMTX recently hoping for a quick buck on an announcement. For the newbies who jumped on the waggon... you should know this stock is hard to predict and tends to move contrary to what you expect it to do... the moves are quick and hard to time. But one cannot but be invested in this stock to catch the moves... as Pat and others have said and I agree Amati is a long term investment, and those who buy it should be patient.
