Adrian, I think we agree on the method of analysis; however, our conclusions do appear at odds. My earlier point was less astute "investors" may buy for any number of reasons. (Trailing) P/E ratios is one that often attracts people to invest far too late in a cycle - I was not recommending this tool. To all: 1) Since this quarter ends MU's fiscal year, will they report audited results? There is far more leeway to "cook the books" if unaudited. 2) If MU reports Thursday, I would keep my eye on September option activity. Out of the money options could become VERY valuable overnight (as they expire Friday). Hmmm, what a coincidence! p.s. Ken Tower of UST Securities said to "sell [MU] on strength" today on CNBC.
