I really believe Peapod is the wave of the future for grocery shopping. As a single working mom, I would give anything not to have to waste 2 hours at the grocery store every week - and for a $5 delivery fee! Their new business model is great and there are ads and billboards springing up all over Long Island where their new warehouse is. Now all they have to do is move into New York City, New Jersey and Connecticut. They are already in Boston/Cambridge and Chicago. All the working professionals would use this service as many are commuting into NYC every day and have families, very busy lives and no time to shop. I heard Peapod was handing out flyers at the Long Island railroad stations - great place to do it! The website is impressive and prices are the same as at my local grocery store. PS - the new calendar is great!
