NTAP.. AMKR, SYKE and the numbering. The numbering is really just what we find the most useful.. The reasons for the numbers through 20 last week were because the stocks were almost all earnings plays so we would logically have the numbers until they actually reported. I started the watch list at #1 today because 80% of the list were earnings plays that were already mentioned and I wanted to consolidate them into that list. I think that the 'numbers' in the calendar now (I put numbers next to the symbol under their report date) will easily take the place of the numbers in the newsletters for the earnings plays. It is easier for instance to 'find' stock #4 for the 12th of Feb when you have a 30 day calendar in front of your rather than #8 for the second of February's watch list when you have to look through the watchlists. So that should solve the case for the calendar and the Earnings Plays.

As for the watch list I'm hoping to just keep it every day numbered from 1-8 for about 2-3 days, then you don't have to chuck them but we don't discuss them any longer. By the end of February we will have a quiet time from earnings plays for a few weeks so we could then concentrate on the 'momentum' plays on the watch lists.

During the hectic part of the next earnings season (Mid-March through mid May) I think we will again have intraday updates more geared towards the earnings plays. Another point I have to think about is which of the stock lists (watch list and/or newsletter) will have intraday updates on silicon Investor. It might be difficult to do both but we'll have to have a 'trial and error' testing.

I agree but AMKR was really just a 'bounce' trade for 1-2 days. I am not that familiar with that company and its the first time its been an earnings play. I'm also holding SYKE for the same reasons as I'm holding NTAP.
