Though I think the polar bears will be okay regardless. They've been around for millions of years, which means they have survived many ice ages and interglacials. And being where they are, they are one species not terribly intruded on by human habitation.

Better check out sunspot activity. If it continues at such a low level, we may be in for another Little Ice Age, like the one associated with the Maunder Minimum. In this case, we'll be glad of any global warming we can get.
