Why is it that people keep warning me not to look in the "rear-view mirror"...yet the stocks that I short still seem to go down with alarming frequency?

Here, for example, is a VLNC shill who has been hyping the stock for years. What's odd is that despite his mysterious, unnamed "sources" and his dire warnings about the dreaded rear-view mirror, the stock continues to plummet.
